·ÌýÌý If you and/or your spouse are members of the ¹û½´ÊÓƵ Medical Plan and are over the age of 65 with an active position (FTE status of 50% or greater), you will maintain drug coverage.
Ìý
·ÌýÌý Members who are over the age of 65 must call the Nova Scotia Seniors’ Pharmacare Program at 1-800-544-6191 to let them know that they will have drug coverage under the ¹û½´ÊÓƵ Medical Plan.
Ìý
·ÌýÌý Should an employee retire or leave ¹û½´ÊÓƵ after the age of 65, to avoid a late entry penalty, employees must apply for coverage with Pharmacare within 90 days of the date your coverage under the ¹û½´ÊÓƵ Medical Plan ends.
