Matching funds are increasingly required or needed to be competitive for certain larger-scale external research funding opportunities. In an effort to assist researchers with these requirements, and with input from Deans and Associate Deans Research, the Vice-President Research office has established and a Request Form. 

To request matching funds from the VPR, the lead ¹û½´ÊÓƵ researcher should review the Guidelines, fill out the then submit to the VPR office for review and consideration. Researchers will note that matching funds must also be requested from the Department and/or Faculty.  Please note that VPR matching funds are not guaranteed and are subject to budget availability.
