As Dr. Richard Florizone's time as president comes to an end and he prepares for his new role as director of the Quantum Valley Ideas Lab, the community is invited to a celebration of his time at ¹û½´ÊÓƵ:

¹û½´ÊÓƵ has benefitted greatly from Dr. Florizone's leadership and vision. Our shared successes over the past five and a half years include reaching new heights with student enrolment and fundraising, full accreditation of academic programs, securing the largest federal research grant in Canada in 2016 for the Ocean Frontier Institute and supporting the successful Ocean Supercluster application, revitalizing our Sexton Campus through the $64M IDEA Project, working to create a more diverse and inclusive campus, and more.

Dr. Florizone's leadership has positioned ¹û½´ÊÓƵ as a catalyst and a collaborator for the region. As our 200th anniversary draws to a close, we are entering our third century stronger than ever.
