Job Summary & Key Responsibilities Ìý |
The Lecture Assistant position is responsible for providing support for the lecture component of the class, including assisting with test and exam management, on-line student assistance, marking, test and exam invigilation, tutorial support and liaising with Resource Centre Assistants as is necessary. This position reports to the Dean of the Faculty of Science through the Chair of the Department of Chemistry. |
Qualifications/Requirements of Position Ìý | Minimum qualification for this position is a BSc Degree in Chemistry (or a related program). Experience providing support for teaching 1st-year university chemistry in the lecture environment is strongly preferred; experience providing support for teaching within the Concepts in Chemistry program is also strongly preferred.Ìý Ìý The application package should be submitted via PeopleAdmin and should consist of a cover letter, curriculum vitae, summary of relevant teaching experience and names and contact information for two referees. |
Salary Range/Pay Rate Ìý | Per CUPE Collective Agreement Ìý |
