Tracy Kittilsen, BSc(Agr), MAdEd, PAg | Manager

Tracy is the current manager of Extended Learning. She is an alum of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College and St. Francis Xavier University. Tracy has been involved in adult education in agriculture for close to 15 years – developing relationships and working with stakeholders across the Atlantic region to deliver training solutions to capture labour market opportunities– most notably she has worked extensively on the PEI Farm Technician Apprenticeship Program since its beginning in 2006.  She also brings work and volunteer experience in rural non-profits in the areas of philanthropy, career development, 4-H, and community health. Lindsay Jennings, HT, RCT, MMP | Program Facilitator of the Horticulture Skills Training Program

Lindsay Jennings photo

Lindsay is the Program Facilitator of the Horticulture Skills Training Program in Extended Learning. She delivers a skills-based therapeutic horticulture, work skills program inside Nova Institution for Women, a multi-level federal correctional facility. She also develop content for various horticulture based projects and programs. If you have questions about Horticultural Therapy or working with at risk communities, please ask Lindsay.

Kamryn Findlay, BSc (Agr), MSc (Agr), PAg | Program Manager

Kamryn Findlay photo

Kamryn is one of the Program Managers in Extended Learning. She graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture with a Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) double majoring in Animal Science and Aquaculture. She has also completed a Master of Science (Agriculture) degree with a specialization in Aquaculture. Kamryn has worked at ¹û½´ÊÓƵ University since 2018 and began her current role in Extended Learning in May 2022. Kamryn has worked and volunteered within the agriculture and agri-food industry for many years. She enjoys working with adult learners to find the right program fit to meet their goals. Her portfolio includes Master Gardener and Master Gardener Summer School, Organic Vegetable Gardener, PEI Farm Technician Apprenticeship Program, Summer Preparatory online courses, summer university credit courses, Organic Agriculture Certificate, and the Certificate in Technology Education. Emma Higgins, BPR, MBA | Program Manager

Emma is a Program Manager in Extended Learning. She graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University with a Bachelor of Public Relations degree and has also completed a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus in Food and Agribusiness Management from the University of Guelph. Emma has worked at the Faculty of Agriculture since 2019 and began her current role with Extended Learning in March of 2022. She has been involved in agriculture throughout her life and is passionate about working with the agriculture industry to develop new training programs. Emma’s portfolio includes Bulk Milk and Refresher certificate, Modern Beekeeper, Cannabis Production & Management, the PEI Farm Technician Apprenticeship Program, Introductory Welding, Tractor Safety, and Pesticide Applicator’s Certification and continuing education courses, including Integrated Pest Management for Farmers and Landscapers. Sondra Mantle, BSc(Agr) | Instructional Media Designer

Sondra Mantle photo

Sondra is an Instructional Media Designer in Educational Technology and Design. She provides visual design and user experience design for credit and non-credit courses at the Faculty of Agriculture that are partially or fully online. Sondra also provides guidance and support to faculty and staff in their use of Brightspace, which could include showing them how to upload a file or coming up with strategies for innovative assessments.

Neil Meister, BDes | Visual Communication Designer

Neil Meister photo

Neil is the Visual Communication Designer for extended Learning. His work includes the design of educational materials such as teaching manuals, presentations and graphics as well as marketing and promotions. Neil is a trained problem solver with an extensive background in print design and production. Since graduating from NSCAD in 1991, he has worked on a wide variety of projects managed on his own, with other designers and as part of multi-disciplinary teams. He also has experience in web design, social media and art direction. He is calm, patient and easy to work with. Neil is the past president of the Nova Scotia Herpetocultural Society, and current treasurer for the Titanic Society of Atlantic Canada.

Kevin Price, Extended Learning’s Program Research and Development Coordinator, brings over two decades of international teaching experience to the team. His professional background includes designing and delivering adult education programs across diverse industries such as education, banking, engineering, and technology. Kevin's expertise spans from market research and curriculum development to stakeholder engagement and program evaluation. His ability to conduct in-depth market analysis, identify funding opportunities, and collaborate with subject matter experts ensures that Extended Learning’s programs meet the evolving needs of both participants and employers. Kevin's passion for education, coupled with his comprehensive understanding of curriculum standards and program delivery, strengthens the Extended Learning team’s ability to offer innovative, market-driven programs.

Linda Rovers
