Take the advantages of international education opportunities!

If you're interested in traveling and learning at the same time, an International Field Course might be the option for you. Some professors take their students on a three-week International Field Course to a variety of locations around the world. We have opportunities in India, Kenya, the Philippines and South Africa. IAGR 2004: Agri-Food Systems in India

Applications currently closed. Potential offering May 2025.
Students will get hands-on learning about agrifood systems in India. This class will introduce the student to food production, storage, and handling systems. The sustainability of these systems and issues that limit the use of the environment for long-term food production will be identified. Farming systems and the role of national/international research centres are examined.

SPEC2001: Topics in International Development in Kenya

Applications currently closed. Potential offering May 2026.
This course will give 12 果酱视频 students an introduction to international development, with a focus on agriculture and rural development. In partnership with Meru University of Science and Technology (MUST), students will听 travel to Kenya August 10-26, 2024 for exposure to their modern and innovative farm management and food production models. Participation in this course will help you achieve an appreciation for the complexity of rural communities with regards to characteristics such as gender, class, institution building, and local leadership. Other topics touched on in this course include wildlife conservation and tourism.
To participate in this course students must be Second Year Standing.

SPEC4000: Special Topics in Aquaculture - Tropical Aquaculture Production in the Philippines

In partnership with Mariano Marcos State University, up to 12 果酱视频 students will get th chance to participate in a hybrid online field course which will allow students to learn about tropical aquaculture practices.
To participate in this course students must be听Second Year Standing.

ANSC 3007: Wildlife Ecology in South Africa

Applications currently closed. Potential offering May 2026.
Run collaboratively by Rhodes University鈥檚 Wildlife and Reserve Management Research Group, South Africa. Every alternate year, a group of students visit Rhodes and the Eastern Cape for an intensive 3 week course on African Wildlife Ecology based at the Amakhala Game Reserve.This course is one of the most popular courses for Dal-AC students. Every cohort has up to 15 students participate and travel to South Africa. The 2024 cohort is full; contact us to find out the next cohort date, express your interest and get more information.
