Mirriam A. Mensah is originally from Ghana (West Africa) and specializes in comparative development studies focusing specifically on peacebuilding, feminist theory, and development. She is pursuing her Ph.D. at 果酱视频 University, where her research centers on the gender dimensions of conflict, peacebuilding, transitional justice, and development in Africa. She is a graduate of the University of Ghana's Department of Political Science, where she completed her B.Sc. in 2017 and M.Phil. in 2020.

Mirriam鈥檚 professional background includes significant roles with the West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP) as an election observer, the Foundation for Security Development in Africa (FOSDA) as a youth peace ambassador in Ghana, and about five years of experience as a teaching and research assistant.

Research interests:

Conflict, peacebuilding, transitional justice, post-conflict reconstruction, feminist theory (intersectionality), postcolonial theory, and development.
