For over forty years, it has been the mission of the School of Health Administration to drive positive change in healthcare through our focus on excellence in the leadership and management of this essential sector. Through outstanding teaching, world-class research, and carefully cultivated connections with the communities we serve, our School strives to have a positive impact on the healthcare in Nova Scotia, across Canada, and around the world.  We strive to attract diverse students to our academic programs, and we are proud to have developed an outstanding network of alumni who champion best practice. The Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA) is a global network of colleges, universities, faculty, individuals and organizations dedicated to the improvement of health and healthcare delivery through excellence in healthcare management and policy education. Its mission is to foster excellence and drive innovation in health management and policy education, and promote the value of university-based management education for leadership roles in the health sector. It is the only non-profit entity of its kind that works to improve the delivery of health services – and thus the health of citizens – throughout the world by educating professional managers.
