Project Leads
果酱视频 the Project Leads program
As Atlantic Canada鈥檚 primary research-intensive university, 果酱视频鈥檚 research excellence is recognized worldwide, and the MacEachen Institute is proud to contribute to this storied reputation as the University鈥檚 policy hub.
The MacEachen Institute鈥檚 Project Leads program is an opportunity for members of 果酱视频 University鈥檚 research community to have an impact on policy at the local, regional, and national level. As Project Leads, our scholars influence public conversations on today鈥檚 most relevant issues, and further their work through projects and research.
Our Project Leads provide leadership and build the Institute鈥檚 research capacity within one of our key research themes: health; environment; finance, the economy, and rural economic development; and democracy and engagement.
Role of Project Leads
As a Project Lead, researchers support the Institute鈥檚 mandate in the following capacities:
Organizing and participating in policy roundtables, public panels, workshops and other events
Engaging public servants and other key stakeholders in the policy ecosystem
Recruiting and mentoring young scholars
Supporting a healthy learning environment at the MacEachen Institute
Contributing to policy focused courses at 果酱视频 hosted by the MacEachen Institute
