Dr. Sarah Moore is an Assistant Professor in the School of Health and Human Performance, Faculty of Health at 果酱视频 University.听Her research expertise is in childhood disability, health and well-being, adapted physical activity and physical rehabilitation, and childhood growth development, and maturation. Dr. Moore strives to engage in work that is meaningful to children with disabilities and their families and relies on the stories, values, and preferences of persons with lived experience.
Dr. Moore is interested in assessing the benefits of and barriers to play and physical activity. She has a particular interest in tracking healthy behaviours from childhood through adulthood and believes that several adult conditions have pediatric antecedents. Dr. Moore鈥檚 overall research aims to improve children鈥檚 health and quality of life through play and physical activity.
She is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and serves on the Board of Directors for the North American Society for Pediatric Exercise Medicine (NASPEM).听
